This print is a bottle study. Using the mono-print method I created the background (the brown and gold base) then using graphite drew on the different sections of the glass bottle. The full view of this piece can be found HERE .
This next print is a wood-block print. Carved out of wood the image is then printed on paper. Once on paper I waited for it to dry then used colored pencils to put the color in. The full image can be found HERE.

I went yarn shopping the other day with my mother. I found this incredible yarn by Sensations called Rainbow Boucle Multi. I bought two of the large skeins to make a small-medium sized afghan. This will take me a while to complete, I'm really excited about the way it looks. I also bought some crochet thread and started making bracelets for my friends, hopefully they will like them.
In a little over a week I start my 2nd semester of college. Some of my classes include Figure Drawing, Design 2 and other base classes. I'm pretty excited knowing I'll be getting back to art soon. Also my school is holding a T-shirt contest to help people remember to wear a condom. I know... interesting shirt, but if you went to the party school of the nation your school would be doing that too. My school pretty much only has 2 serious majors which are any art major and nursing. The submissions for the contest are due Jan 20th, I plan to enter.
